For those of you who are a little more on the novice side of competing. Take a look at your Max Snatch, the limiting factor for you.

For instance, do some math backwards from either where you want to be, or where your max is.

Example: If your max is 78lbs in the Snatch, you wouldn’t  want to rush to get to that point. You certainly don’t want to be tired.

So, do the math.

17 minutes is 1020 seconds

Everything leading up to the most difficult part for you would be 100 repetitions, leave yourself with enough gas in the tank to give it an honest go. But enough time to get some reps in if you surprise yourself.

If you do ONE repetition every SEVEN seconds, it leaves you at around 12 minutes. Leaving 5 minutes to tackle your Snatches and hopefully fresh enough to give it a damn good go (even if you wanted to rest 2 minutes before trying  you most certainly could)

Now thats just one example. Happy Gaming everyone 🙂
