As a note to all the other posters/lurkers. If you keep track of your PR’s i.e 1RM, 5×5, etc it is easier to do better the next time.

Found this through a link on the “Talk to me Johnnie” site I cannot eat whole food after a wod – it makes me feel ill. So, I tend to lean toward neglecting my pwo, which is SO BAD! What are the thoughts on this. I LOVE that it comes from grass fed beef.

Fay, I checked out that link you just attached,so I thought I would respond, I recently reached out to our naturopathic nutritionist asking her about what she would recommend, Nick and I both don’t like to take anything that is synthetic when possible so all our vitamins are made from whole foods,
not only were we looking for a post work out something but also to help Nicks back, he was having some problems with it and she recommended that he take more amino acids along with protein, so this is what she recommended.

Are you mixing it w/water PWO?
yeah you mix it with 6 oz water, HOWEVER, I then add half a banana and a handful of frozen berries and mix it in the blender. so i get it when i get home, instead of just mixing it with water and drinking it immediately after… maybe one day i can muster up the courage to drink it straight

Got 3:57 on this wod at 115# barbell, my lungs are on fire. So everyone likes the cffb programming? You’ll more than likely be seeing more of it over the next month as a nice change of pace
