Okay, I have some stuff to say today.
**Our mobility is getting sketchy. I cannot be okay with letting some of you do a few of these movements while pain and inflexibility ensues throughout the entire movement. So I need to regroup and come up with a plan for all of you. As your coach its my job to ensure that none of you get injured as you make progress. It makes for a formula of 1 step forward and 9 steps back. So suck it up, and be prepared to do mobility stuff whether you like it or not.
**Potato Creek Trail runs, see it on the right hand side? I am thinking about running a CFE program in the mornings for some of you, or at least posting the 3x a week running workouts to prepare for it. This is depending on how many people want to utilize it? Let hear some votes, would you like to see me post it on here? or just print out the program for you all individually and talk to you guys on a 1 on 1 basis to prepare for it?

regarding the CFE workouts, i would actually prefer a little bit of both. with spring semester right around the corner, it would be helpful to have the workouts posted up that way i am able to complete them on my own time. but on the other hand, when school isnt owning me and i am able to make it to the workouts,i would love to be able to have a workout or 2 directed towards CFE so i am not always doing them on my own. maybe we could choose either saturday or sunday focused towards the endurance side?
I plan to do the 1/2 marathon and would be interested in the workouts. The only problem I have is that when we do running, I have pain problems running on the road but have no problem on trails… and prefer trails anyways because it is less boring and the scenery is just beautiful 🙂 So, if you planned any group runs on the trails I would join in on those. Karen and I have ran out at Cobus Creek Park on county line road, which is not too far from the gym, so maybe that would be a good place. It is not a busy park either. It’s not huge but has enough trails to do a good run. I would suggest Bonneyville Mill in Bristol for some longer training runs.
OxBow park in goshen has awesome trails as well, done plenty of runs there, love it! it is a little ways away but we could do a car pool 🙂 just a thought!
I like the idea of you posting the workouts here but would also like to see some at the gym. The other one that might be good is the Pumpkinvine in Goshen. It’s a 1/2 marathon from beginning to end, although it is more of a hard surface. Beautiful, though.
